14-04-2024 - Rockfordian Weekly Digest
Dear Rockfordians, Welcome back to Rockford Senior Secondary School! As we embark on another exciting academic year 2024-25, it’s time to enjoy the company of the new and old friends and teachers, to wear school uniform, travel by the school bus, to arrange new sets of books, sharpen the pencils and look forward for another year of learning and growth. We promise that it will be a year of magical wonder and amazing growth for every Rockfordian. We are looking forward to work with you and your child as we teach them to reach for the stars. We believe that communication is the key to your child's success and to a great parent/teacher relationship. We encourage you to contact the class teacher if you have any questions or concerns at any time. Please read the weekly and monthly communication that is sent at the end of each week as Weekly Digest and month end as Monthly Info Express. The communication folder will include all the activities carried out in the school by the students and teachers. Sunday (7/4/24) was our Kindergarten Annual Day. It was a feast to the eyes to watch the tiny tots dancing to the music played. We have tried to add maximum photos in this Weekly Digest to give a glimpse of the event. The annual day for the Junior & Senior students will be on 01/5/24.

Dear Rockfordians, The International Women’s Day celebrated at Rockford as token of appreciation to all women who are part and parcel of our school. Students and teachers emphasized the opportunities they have in the society and the challenges women can overcome with dedication and determination. At Rockford the management is always takes every step possible to foster the women empowerment. Every girl child is taken care along with boys, they are nurtured and guided to face the challenges of the society. It is the best place where woman are given freedom and responsibility. We also appreciate our parents and grandparents for their endeavor to motivate the girl child to be bold and encourage them to dream high and achieve greater heights in their life. The board exams are going on as scheduled. Our teachers have well equipped all our students to do well in exams . We have understood from our students that they have done well in all the papers & felt the board paper was much easier than the school question papers . Dear Rockfordians, Today(23/2/24)students of class III and IV had their SEVA program along with their teachers at 'Abala Home'. It was an astonishing experience for the students. The inmates were differently able children,so it was an eye opening for our kinds to realize how lucky they are to enjoy a healthy and Happy life at home as well as at school. Students generously donated some materials for their new friends to use. The school's moto is to educate children to be empathetic and do what they can to help the needy in the society.We thank the parents who encouraged their wards to gain experience through this visit. 17-02-2024 - ROCKFORDIAN WEEKLY DIGEST
Dear Rockfordians, Saturday (17/2/24) was an important day for the little RocKForDians. The school celebrated the Junior Sports Day with lots of pride and enthusiasm. The event was declared open by Mr. Murugesh, the chief guest of the day. The Tiny Tots were packed with energy and their performances were splendid. The heat couldn't beat the determination of the children as they were fully prepared to bring out their best and help their companions to do the same. The team work, coordination and cooperation among the students were well appreciated by all. Sports Day was not only for the Tiny Tots but for the parents too, they participated in the events to test the flexibility and youthfulness. The sumptuous lunch served for the students and parents was cherished by all. Tomorrow (20/2/24) the class X students are going to write their board exam and class XII on Thursday (22/2/24). Our chairman offered a special pooja at Kollur Mookambika Temple for the success of the students. We have entered into the shortest month of the year, February. This month our students of classes X & XII will be appearing for their board exams. Students have worked hard under the able guidance of the well qualified teachers for the last 12,14 years to prepare for this exam. It is a very important exam for them. Therefore, they need the suppot of the Parents, Teachers and Friends very much at this juncture. I humbly request everyone to pray for every child to perform well in the exam and come out in flyovers colours.

Dear Rockfordians, The practical exams are completed very successfully and students are showing lots of improvements in their performance. As the Exam dates are fast approaching students are very busy with revisions and clarifying their doubts with teachers and friends. This week we had organized the fare well for the class XII students. It was a emotional and enriching experience to everyone. Yesterday we celebrated the 75th Republic day of our Mother Land. Dear Rockfordians, Yesterday was a red marked day in the calendar of Rockford as we celebrated the senior sports day, National Youth Day, Ramanujan Math Quiz and Pongal. Today the little RocKForDians with their Parents and Grandparents celebrated the Pongal and Grandparents Day at Karnur Campus. I am sure that you you all had a enriching experience while watching the various programs put up by the students. If you could not attend the program, we are here with our weekly digest to give you a glimpse of what happened yesterday and today in the school. Besides all these celebrations we are happy to inform you that the board exam preparations are going on side by side. Yesterday the practial exam began in our school and students were very confident and courageous during the practical. We need to continue to pray that this momentum they will maintain till the last exam. The green Olympiad exam results are published and our students performed extremely good. The achievers were honored by the Chairman, yesterday on the stage along with prize winners of Sports day events. Wish you all a happy reading.
